The mission: make golf more fun, accessible, and attractive to families, beginners, and casual golfers. Via its non-penal design and manageable distance (approximately 1,800 yards), Origins Golf Course is a golf course that both appeals to and caters to novices.

Yet its regulation-length holes and greens dimensions provide enough challenge and strategy to retain the interest of avid and experienced players. Consistent with the Scottish origins of the game, in which six, nine, and 12-hole courses were commonplace. -WaterSound Club

It plays as a six-hole regulation course, a ten-hole par-3 course approximately 1,800 yards, and a short course. Conceptually, it is designed to encourage junior golfers, beginners, and families to participate in golf and remain engaged throughout their recreational lives.
