Alga Beer Company Taproom in Pensacola Florida

Born from two apartment kitchens in Birmingham and Atlanta, Alga (if you haven’t caught on by now, Alga represents Alabama and Georgia) started with similar beginnings to most breweries. What originally was just a fun hobby that provided us with something to drink quickly turned into something that people actually WANTED to drink.

Fast forward to today, Alga Beer Company is the culmination of all those days spent over a stovetop and the apartment balcony with a propane burner. It’s been a whirlwind journey to get to this point, but it’s nowhere near over.

Those days of giving away beer at art shows and crawfish boils helped form this wild idea, and we’re thankful for every opportunity and person we’ve met along the way. So, with that said, give us a try. We hope you enjoy it!
