Located on the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay in Shalimar, just Northwest of Destin and East of Fort Walton Beach.  Shalimar Pointe Golf Club is one of the best-kept golf secrets in Northwest Florida on the Emerald Coast.

The par-72 course has five sets of tees, playing as long as 6,756 yards. The first, ninth and 18th holes are all par 5s. And the par-holes range from 150-yard 11th to the 218-yard 16th from the back tees. The 11th is arguably one of the course's signature holes with water surrounding the front and both sides of the green. Water also comes into play on the long 16th, as do three bunkers that guard the green.-GolfNow
