We are thrilled to offer our guests a “family friendly” – Crab Island Adventure, with captain and crew! You’ll go on a 5 minute boat ride to one of our area’s most popular destinations where you can kick back and enjoy our three-hour trip!  Just sit back and relax with no hassle of renting your own boat! Crab Island’s name might be a bit misleading. It is not an actual island, it’s nothing more than a raised sandbar where hundreds of boats gather during the warmer months to enjoy the shallow emerald green waters. You will find mobile food boats and floating restaurants – providing everything from ice cream, BBQ, to coconuts!

We at Destin Snorkel pride ourselves on our family friendly culture and environment and expect the same from our guests but acknowledge that at times, other Crab Island visitors may not maintain the same behavior.

We have been running our snorkeling tours to the jetties since 2008. With people visiting from all over the world, we realize snorkeling is an experience some people have never had. Here, are a few tips and tricks that will help familiarize you with the beginners snorkeling experience at Destin Snorkel.

If you aren’t comfortable jumping right in to snorkeling, stand in the shallows and practice by putting your face down in the water. This way, you’ll be able to practice breathing out of your mouth and you can make sure you have a good seal on your mask.

Destin Snorkel boats are made for snorkeling; comfortable seating, restroom on board, and canopy for shade. Our snorkel tours are fun for all ages and abilities.  We provide all of the snorkeling equipment (fins, masks and snorkels) along with free bottled water.

Evening Fireworks Cruise

The Destin Snorkel fireworks cruise departs from the docks of Harborwalk Village every Thursday night from Memorial Day through Labor Day. They offer other excursions during the day such as sunset and dolphin tours, snorkeling, snuba, and shelling.
