2025 Surfer’s Cup Golf Fundraiser

The Surfer’s Cup Golf Fundraiser is more than just a day on the green—it’s a chance for our community to come together in support of our military veterans. Proceeds from this event will directly fund the Surf Brigade Surf Therapy Program, which helps veterans build resilience and find healing through the transformative power of surfing. By participating in the tournament, whether as a player or sponsor, you’re not just having fun on the golf course—you’re making a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans who are navigating the challenges of PTSD, anxiety, and other mental health struggles. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy a day of golf while giving back to those who have given so much for our country. Together, we can help these heroes discover strength, connection, and healing, one wave at a time.

Event Format & Rules

• The primary focus of this golf fundraiser is to have fun while supporting a great cause, rather than competitive play. To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience, the event will be played in a scramble format, where teams of playerswill work together to select the best shot on each hole.
• Participants who purchased mulligans with their tickets will have two mulligans available, giving them the opportunity to re-play a shot for better results.
• Additionally, “Bogey is your friend” Once all players in a group have reached par without completing the hole, the team will take a bogey and move on to the next hole. This rule is designed to keep the event moving efficiently, ensuring that everyone enjoys the day while staying on schedule. 
• All games should be complete in 4 hours (max). This means you should average 13 minute per hole. With respect to lunch and the awards ceremony, please monitor your time closely.

INCLEMENT WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS:

Due to limited staffing, there will be no rain date in the event of inclement weather. If the event is canceled due to
extreme weather conditions, registered players and teams will have the option to receive a full refund of their
registration fees.

Sponsors and donors are kindly requested to honor their commitments and will still be recognized by the Surf Brigade
Foundation, as the cancellation is a result of weather conditions beyond the organization’s control. However,
sponsors and donors may also choose to receive a refund of their contributions. By participating in this event, all
parties acknowledge and accept these terms in the event of a weather-related cancellation.
